You must have a Haven Play Pass to access the swimming, activities or evening entertainment.
There may be two reasons why you don't have an access card yet:
- You decided to pay a little less on the first booking and chose a Hideaway break or
- You booked directly with a motorhome owner through a third-party rental site such as Airbnb or booking.com
But just because you don't have one yet doesn't mean you can't get one.

What happens if you don't have a Play Pass?
If you have booked directly with a private caravan owner or a Hideaway, you can only use the caravan as a base.
Although you're still a short drive from off-site attractions and usually within walking distance of a beach. It's a chance to explore the area instead of using any of the hotel's main facilities or pool. So even if you want to save money on the passport, you might end up spending a lot more elsewhere.
You can still use the resort's restaurants, arcades and outdoor play areas and order takeout on a Hideaway vacation. In addition, you can shop at the mini market and use the washing machine if you need it.
It is cheaper in advance to book a break without entertainment passes, but if you change your mind later, you have to add to the price of entertainment passes. But overall it is cheaper to order the passes in advance when you book the main break.
What do you get with Play Passes?
Vacations at Haven Resorts are packed with things to do from the moment you step on the premises - as long as you hold access cards.
In addition to your cottage, you also get:
- access to indoor and outdoor pools, canals and slides, depending on location;
- access to all entertainment areas and arcades – this includes daytime activities and nightly entertainment and shows
- possibility to pre-order all free (and paid) activities for the whole family
Reading it back, it doesn't sound like much, but I promise the activities and facilities are amazing.
You can do archery, wall climbing, cycling lessons, fencing, segway, arts and crafts, mini golf, nature trails, arcade, mini sports, bungee trampolines - and that's just the start of the list!

Haven play pass 2023 priser
The prices for the cards depend on when and where you go.
A holiday park with many more amenities, luxurious swimming pools and more in the entertainment areas will cost you more.
Prices are based on adults and children staying overnight, subject to a maximum amount that can be charged per night. 2 or 3 bed caravan.
The maximum price for access cards is £424 for a week's break at the height of the child's holiday in one ofbetter haven parks. It looks to be from £7.57 per person per day for all the entertainment and swim sessions you can manage.
Remember, it can also be as little as £189 depending on how many guests stay overnight (£3.38 per person/day).

How to buy a Play Pass
You canbook and not onlineor by phone directly from Haven.
If you've booked a Hideaway holiday, please use your booking reference and surname on the app or website.
But if you have booked with a private person, it must state that you arrive directly at the park. You will receive an email and then order them online, which can usually be done up to four weeks after your visit.
It shouldnotbuy cards from private individuals or rental agents - they are not genuine passports printed with your name on them. Only take them from the Garden to avoid confiscation.
Alternatively, you can purchase the pass directly at the park reception when you arrive.
For private stays, ask them for a copy of the "Play Pass Purchase Form" and their details and plot number so you can purchase them. This will either be emailed to you or posted, or a hard copy will be left in your caravan on arrival.
A word of warning, maps and activities are limited and subject to availability, so it may be best to consider booking in advance. If you wait within four weeks of your holiday, some activities may be fully booked.
Another warning - the reception is very busy on a changing day and you will probably have to queue for some time. So it might be worth waiting a few hours or just getting them online earlier.
Last tip
One last tip, if you're looking for cards for your family, it's worth investing in a lanyard for the kids.
The passport itself is the size of a credit card, and although you can keep it in your bag, kids won't lose theirs if it's with them.
You can buy character lanyards at the supermarket in the park.

What is the Stay + Play card?
Stay and Play cards were introduced in 2020, although they are now known as Play Passes.
They were introduced as a way for more people to stay simple and enjoy a UK based holiday without all the bells and whistles of a holiday park experience.
How long is the Play Pass valid for?
Your Play Passes are valid from the date of arrival and cover all your fun until the end of your holiday.
Can you get a day pass for Haven?
The Garden does not offer day passes to guests at their parks. You have the choice of either a 3, 4 or 7 night pass to access the facilities.
What is the Funworks Pass?
Funworks cards no longer exist and do not give you access to pools, activities or entertainment venues. They have been renamed Play Passes.

If you wish to travel to another park, it would be best to get in touch with the park you want to travel to and find out if you will be able to use the facilities on the date you wish to travel. Haven Review Summary
Without a doubt, Kay and Yu are the focal point in Haven. I absolutely loved them and how their presence and the game's mood made me feel. The only real downside then was the gameplay. Totally worth the experience from my perspective, just be aware of the repetition.
