How to Search Harris County Property Records

The Harris County Clerk, Appraisal District and Assessor have online search tools for searching property records within their jurisdiction. The Harris County Clerk maintains asearch portalto search real estate documents using file number, tape code, party names, date and other descriptions. Search results will reflect relevant information submitted from January 1961 to the date the database was last updated, usually the day before the search.
